    • To maintain persistent academic curiosity; to be able to evaluate information, analyze data, and acquire deep insights of the world and self.
    • To nurture the mindset of  world citizenship; to  develop a strong sense of accountability, cross-cultural understanding and adaptability to new environments.

    All English - speaking environment

Students should only speak English in classes taught in English unless otherwise instructed by their teachers for the purpose of briefly translating. They should only speak Mandarin in courses taught in Mandarin. We encourage students to speak English during the instructional day from 8 A.M. - 5 P.M., no matter during breaks, at the canteen, on the sports field, during club or elective time, or back in their dorms. We want our students to totally immerse themselves in an all English - speaking environment so as to meaningfully enhance their language skills. To this end, we have a number of positive reinforcements to encourage students to constantly use English as well as a punishment policy for students who choose not to speak the common language of instruction.

    Awards & Honors

At the end of each school year, MSQ holds an awards ceremony to recognize outstanding student achievement. Parents are highly encouraged to attend this event to share this special moment with their children.
